Values & Beliefs

Putting people first

We don’t produce a product. We provide services to people; important, necessary services that allow people to live more independently and to achieve goals that are a priority to them. We deliver our services through people, so our most important asset is our employees. We make decisions based on what we believe is best for people—our consumers and our employees—given available resources.

Doing whatever it takes

We have been told that we are among the best in the business because we are flexible, responsive, and dependable. And we are focused on the needs of the people we support. But there is always room for improvement in our service practices and procedures. We encourage employees to try to be creative as they perform their jobs and to continually look for ways to deliver better, more tailored services. We will keep working with consumers until we get it right—whatever it takes.

Acting with passion and integrity

The people we support and their families and advocates rely on us to follow through on our promises. So do our fellow employees. That is why we do what we say we’re going to do, when we say we will, and in the way we say we’ll do it. And we do it enthusiastically and with a sincere desire to be the best we can be.
